Recession???

That's not for me to decide but it sure feels like it.  You may not be able to afford a new computer right now but upgrading the old one has never been cheaper.  Adding more memory is the cheapest and easiest way to get more life out of a computer that you just can't afford to get rid of.  Memory is at an all time low as far as cost per megabyte (MB) goes.  You can buy a 1GB chip for as low as $21.50.  That's 1024MB for less than it costs to go to the movies these days.

If you can't afford to buy a new computer you may be able to just add more memory and extend it's life.
