Recession???

That's not for me to decide but it sure feels like it.  You may not be able to afford a new computer right now but upgrading the old one has never been cheaper.  Adding more memory is the cheapest and easiest way to get more life out of a computer that you just can't afford to get rid of.  Memory is at an all time low as far as cost per megabyte (MB) goes.  You can buy a 1GB chip for as low as $21.50.  That's 1024MB for less than it costs to go to the movies these days.

If you can't afford to buy a new computer you may be able to just add more memory and extend it's life.

New MacPro Memory Is Here!

Apple released a new line of MacPros based on the 8-Core Processor.  It uses Fully Buffered DIMMs (FBDIMMs) like the last generation but faster.  The new FBDIMMs must be DDR2-800 or PC2-6400.  They still require the large Apple Approved heat sink to deal with the added heat and fan noise.  DMS has prices listed on the site and should begin shipping starting Monday the 21st.

New Apple Aluminum iMac is a big hit!

Apple's latest version of their popular iMac line is a smash hit. I had a chance to play with one the other day and I was very impressed, as are many other folks. I have been selling a ton of memory for the new iMac but no ones seems to be in a rush to get their new memory because the iMac is back ordered. Good for Apple bad for you I guess. The one problem I have is the cost. I know that what you are getting is worth what you are paying but the iMac was designed as an affordable easy to use computer. The entry level iMac is not too bad but I would rather buy a MacBook. I love my MacBook.

Just my 2 nanoseconds!
